Run a Turanjo store in your neighbourhood
We bring the catalogue, the technology and the delivery network. You bring the space and the local knowledge. Together we put a 10-minute grocery shop on your street.
Why partner with Turanjo
A dark store is a different business from a shop. Here is what changes.
Customers come to you
Orders arrive from the Turanjo app and website. There is no shopfront to staff and no footfall to chase — your store is found by everyone in its delivery radius from the day it opens.
A catalogue you do not have to build
Products, pricing, offers and flash sales are maintained centrally. You stock the shelves; what the customer sees, and what they pay, is kept consistent across every Turanjo store.
A dark store, not a retail unit
These are picking spaces built for speed, not showrooms. No display fit-out, no prime high-street rent — a clean, well-lit room on a road a two-wheeler can leave quickly.
Local knowledge is the point
You know which lanes flood, which streets a rider can cut through and what your neighbourhood actually buys. That is the part of this business software cannot supply.
What we bring
The parts of a 10-minute grocery business that are the same in every store, so you are not building them twice.
Site selection
We check the catchment before you sign anything — where the orders would come from, how far a rider has to travel, and whether the area is one we can serve at all.
Store layout and racking
A rack plan built to one standard across every store, so every shelf has an address. A picker is told the exact slot to walk to rather than searching for a product.
Stock and pricing systems
A dashboard for what is on your shelves, what is running out and what sells. Restocking, purchase cost and margin are recorded per store — yours, not an average of everyone else.
Riders and the delivery app
Delivery runs on our rider app: assignment, live order status, proof of delivery and cash reconciliation at the end of a shift. You are not building a logistics stack.
Payments and settlement
Online payments, refunds and invoices are handled by the platform. Your takings, deductions and payouts are itemised — gross, fee and net on the same row — so every figure can be checked.
Training and launch support
Your team is trained on picking, packing and the apps before you open, and our Chhapra operations team stays reachable afterwards.
How it works
Four steps, and we are honest with you at every one.
Tell us about yourself
Call or message us with your name, the area you have in mind and the space you have — or are looking for. A short conversation tells us both whether this is worth pursuing.
We survey the area
We look at the catchment, the delivery radius and the site itself. If the area is not one we can serve yet, we will say so plainly rather than take you further.
Set up and stock
Racking goes in to the standard plan, the store is added to the platform, and your opening stock is loaded. Your team is trained while the shelves fill.
Go live
Your store starts receiving orders from the app across its delivery radius, with our team watching the first days alongside you.
What we look for
No form to fill in and no scoring. These are the four things a conversation usually turns on.
A workable space
Ground floor, shutter access, dry and well lit, on a road a two-wheeler can get in and out of quickly. It does not need a high-street address or a display window.
An area we can reach
Somewhere inside — or next to — a catchment we already deliver to, or one dense enough to open. We will tell you honestly which side of that line your area falls.
Someone hands-on
A partner who is at the store daily, at least to begin with. Ten-minute delivery is an operations business, and the first weeks decide the habits.
Working capital for stock
Enough to hold and replenish inventory while the store finds its rhythm. We will go through the numbers for your specific site when we meet.
Questions we are asked
Let's talk about your area
Tell us the neighbourhood you have in mind and the space you have. We will tell you honestly whether it is one we can serve — and what opening there would involve.
Instant grocery delivery
Shop from your phone and have it brought to your door. Fresh fruit and vegetables, atta, rice and pulses, bakery and cakes, everyday snacks and cold drinks — picked from a dark store in your own neighbourhood and sent out on a two-wheeler, not shipped from another city.
One app for the daily list
The things that run out midweek, without the trip: vegetables and fruit, staples for the kitchen, bread and cakes, snacks, soft drinks and ready-to-eat meals. Order in a couple of taps and get on with your day.
Open a Turanjo store in your area
We are opening dark stores in new neighbourhoods across the towns we serve. If you have a ground-floor space on a road a two-wheeler can leave quickly, and you know the area, we would like to hear from you — the platform, the catalogue, the riders and the training come from us.
Where Turanjo delivers today
Towns we currently serve: Chhapra, Saharsa. More neighbourhoods open as new stores do — if yours is not on the list yet, it may be one we are working towards.
